Hey, we’re glad you’re here!

Founded in Boulder, Colorado in 2019, the Campin was started by a small team—three to be precise— who love camping.

We started this project because of our continual frustration with how time consuming it was to find a good and free place to camp in this beautiful state.

For years we found ourselves wishing there was a reliable resource out there that showed us where to find good free and dispersed campsites. After enough wishing, we decided to take action! Using our combined qualifications we’ve built a place that campers can find the dispersed campsite that best suites them.

We care about enjoying the outdoors responsibly.

We believe that everyone who enjoys the outdoors has the responsibility to help keep it clean and beautiful. That’s why, in addition to showing you great camping areas, we’re proponents of clean camping practices and are trying to spread the good word. We’re also donating a portion of all sales to non-profits that help protect our forests.
